The rules for using BetMetrics.ca. Plain language, no fine print.

1. Acceptance

By using BetMetrics.ca (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms — material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, a notice on the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 19 years of age and physically located in Ontario, Canada to register an account or place Fantasy BetBucks bets. If you are under 19, you are prohibited from creating an account or using the Fantasy Sportsbook.

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We may suspend or close any account that we believe violates this policy.

3. What BetMetrics Is — and Isn't

BetMetrics is an information and odds-comparison platform. We are not a sportsbook, gaming operator, or licensed betting facility. We do not accept wagers, hold deposits, settle real-money bets, or process payments.

Our Fantasy Sportsbook uses a virtual currency called BetBucks. BetBucks have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be transferred. The Fantasy Sportsbook is an educational and entertainment product only.

Outbound links to licensed sportsbooks may pay us an affiliate commission. We disclose this on our Responsible Gaming page. Our editorial reviews and rankings reflect operator quality (registration status, odds margin, payout reliability, customer support), not commission rates.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person
Attempt to manipulate the Fantasy leaderboard or settlement engine
Scrape, mirror, or republish the odds, scores, or content shown on the Site
Post unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory content in the forum or chat
Use the Site to direct minors to gambling content
Probe, scan, or test the security of our infrastructure without prior written consent

5. No Warranty on Odds or Outcomes

Odds, scores, lines, and statistics are aggregated from third-party providers and may be delayed, inaccurate, or stale at the moment you view them. Always verify the live price on the operator's site before placing any wager. BetMetrics is not liable for losses or missed opportunities arising from reliance on Site content.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we have reason to believe that:

You are under 19 or outside Ontario
You have violated these Terms or applicable law
Your account has been compromised
You have abused the Fantasy Sportsbook (multi-account, scripted bets, leaderboard manipulation)

You can close your own account at any time by emailing support@betmetrics.ca.

7. Disputes & Complaints

If something on the Site has gone wrong, contact us first at support@betmetrics.ca. We aim to respond within two business days.

If you have a complaint about a sportsbook we link to, please raise it directly with the operator first. Unresolved complaints about a registered iGaming Ontario operator can be escalated to the AGCO at iAGCO Player Disputes (opens in new tab).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
